Latest news (Feb. 2007): FAWM is here again

As of this writing, I'm 10 songs deep in another February Album Writing Month. The songs are for a forthcoming as-yet-untitled album of mostly light rock, folk and that - plenty of it tongue-in-cheek, of course, but some surprisingly not so much. Some of it is Beethoven-derived, for reasons that are hard to explain. All of it is available, probably through the end of March, at my FAWM page.

In the meantime, please tell all your friends to get It's Hard Not To Be, the megaboss collection of older songs, at CDBaby. Audio samples of half the songs are there, of course, in case your descriptive powers aren't good enough. Tell them that it's part of a three-for-$15 deal, meaning they'd have to be retarded not to buy it. Then apologize for being so insensitive, you oaf.

If you're thinking "I could have sworn there were more people than that in the band," you're not entirely wrong. Derek the drummer took his leave in November, and Ben the bass player followed quite shortly thereafter. Bob and I, the non-alliterative members, are in sporadic contact, and for the time being MENBAH! is a regrouping one-man band. I hope that's not an oxymoron.
